KCA OFFICE BEARERS VISITED HONOURABLE SPORTS MINISTER OF KERALA SRI ABDU RAHIMAN

KCA President Sri Sajan K. Varghese along with Adv. Sreejith V. Nair-( Secretary -KCA) Sri Jaffer sait ( Vice President – KCA ) Sri Vinod S Kumar ( Secretary – Trivandrum District Cricket Assiciation ) congratulated the newly appointed Sports Minister of Kerala Sri ABDU RAHIMAN during their visit on Friday at Thiruvananthapuram.

International Cricket matches and Venue,Infrastructure development for cricket in various districts was the main agenda . The office bearers also brought to the attention of the Sports Minister the current status of The Sports Hub(Greenfield stadium), Karyavattom after it has been allotted to Army recruitment rally , the prospect of organising more International matches at the venue.

Honourable minister extended all his support and lauded the efforts of KCA in developing cricket in Kerala.

Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) will associate with Twenty first Century (TCM) a premier sports marketing & management company, for the conduct of its three annual domestic tournaments – KCA Presidents Cup, KCA Pink Challenger for women and the KCA Club Championship.

These tournaments will be conducted at S.D College ground, Alappuzha. TCM will be sponsoring the expenses for the conduct of these tournaments and also broadcast live all matches.

On 14 th July , KCA Secretary Adv.Sreejith V Nair and TCM representative Sri. Carlton Saldana signed a 10-year agreement to this effect. KCA Jt. Secretary Adv. Rejith Rajendran, Sri.S.Ramesh (Director-Game Operations) and Smt.Minu Chithambaram (CEO-KCA) were also present.

These tournaments are expected to offer more opportunities and a platform to nurture the talents from all the districts of Kerala.
